Fort Lauderdale small businesses need three things online: a website that loads fast and explains what they do, a complete Google Business Profile, and a steady flow of honest reviews. F&K Consulting Group builds and maintains all three.
This is home base. I moved here in October 2026 after years building businesses in New York, including a collision and PPF shop, a commercial building in Manhattan and the marketing systems behind them. Fort Lauderdale is where I live and where we meet most clients in person.
The Fort Lauderdale market
The city has a mix you don’t see in many places. Restaurants and bars along Las Olas Boulevard compete for both tourists and locals. Marine businesses, from yacht services to boat detailing, cluster around the Intracoastal and the river. Home service companies, roofers, HVAC and pool contractors cover the neighborhoods west of Federal Highway. Professional offices fill the downtown towers. Auto businesses line the commercial stretches of Federal Highway, US-1 and the State Road 84 corridor.
Every one of those categories is crowded in Google’s map results. Seasonal residents and visitors search differently from year-round locals, and many customers search in Spanish or Portuguese as well as English.
What we do here
- Websites from $2,500, with additional languages for $500 each. Up to about eight pages, a Google profile cleanup, tracking and one review push, live in two to three weeks.
- Google Business Profile and local SEO, so you show up in the right part of the city for the right searches.
- AI search (GEO), so your business has better odds of being named when someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation in Fort Lauderdale.
- Reviews and reputation, a compliant system for asking every customer, with no incentives and no gating.
- Cash-flow reports and funding readiness for owners who want clearer numbers.
Seasonality is a real factor
Fort Lauderdale businesses feel the season. Winter brings visitors and seasonal residents; summer slows many categories down. That changes how we plan. We push review requests hard in busy months, when customer volume is highest, and use the slower months to build pages and guides that pay off when the season returns.
Bilingual matters here
A large share of Broward County residents speak Spanish at home, and Portuguese and Haitian Creole are common too. For many local businesses, a real Spanish version of the site, not a translation widget, reaches customers that competitors miss. It’s the most common add-on we recommend in South Florida.
Auto shops in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale has plenty of collision, repair, tint and PPF shops, plus a lot of high-end vehicles. Beyond marketing, we offer automotive consulting built on my own shop’s experience: OEM certification readiness, I-CAR Gold Class and PPF line launches.
